Kisii County government's search for a piece of land to put up a waste disposal and management centre has ended up in court. The county's Lands department has been trying to acquire a 21-acre parcel of land at Nyatieko. However, some residents moved to court, saying the county government took their land without involving them. But County Lands Registrar Stephen Mokaya said his office had done a detailed report to the court on the status of the disputed land.
