Slough is set to play host to a circus with a difference where inclusivity is the main event. Circus Starr, a touring circus who provide specially adapted shows for children with disabilities and learning difficulties, is coming to town on Friday 29th September. Slough’s The Curve will stage two performances from the talented troupe, with ring mistress Mariska Gandey leading performers from around the world. Tickets for the shows on the circus’ tour are paid for by charitable businesses and offered, free of charge, to local disabled and vulnerable children. Every year Circus Starr distributes £1.37 million worth of free tickets.
