Yuen Long District Councilor Henry Wong was arrested this morning for allegedly exaggerating election expenses, alongside Kowloon City District Councilor Timothy Lee. Kowloon City District Councilor Timothy Lee was also arrested this morning for allegedly exaggerating election expenses in the now-postponed LegCo elections. Henry Wong also uploaded a video filming his arrest this morning to his social media. Previous NextDistrict councilors Henry Wong Pak-yu and Timothy Lee Hin-long have been arrested together with the director of a creative company Jason Chan Tsz-him for exaggerating election expenses. They have declared election expenses of HK$4.89 million, among which HK$4.5 million was donated by a creative company “U Made This”.
