It's believed two men were involved in the attack during which the councillor and her husband were allegedly punched. Independent Councillor Tania Doyle said she was asked about her views on migration in the lead up to the incident. Ms Doyle told Newstalk: "I suppose it's really when I gave my answer on my views on immigration. "And it was 'No, no, no' - this party's doing this, that party's doing that'".
