The future of work will be about soft skills, automation and work flexibility, a MYOB survey says. Young people entering the workforce believe automation will have the biggest impact on the workplace in the next decade, but their biggest fear is actually the cost of living. However, automation and AI were regarded as the greatest labour-related challenge coming (44 per cent), topping climate change (40 per cent). Sixty-four per cent of respondents ranked the cost of living their biggest future concern, followed by climate change (49 per cent) and the housing crisis (44 per cent).
