But it seems that the emotional bond between Tesla and its investors and lenders has changed -- and not in a good way. Yesterday, I wrote about factors that might send Tesla stock down 95%. The emotional climate around Tesla has changed and the factors driving fear into the hearts of Tesla stock investors are having a similar effect on its debtholders. One investor, Santa Monica-based Chasing Value Asset Management, is short Tesla stock and believes it could file for Chapter 11 by the summer of 2020.
