Alexei Navalny, the Russian opposition leader, and members of his anti-corruption group have been attacked and beaten by a group of Cossacks at an airport in the south of the country. A woman’s voice can be heard shouting “Police!” as Mr Navalny’s wife and a child are jostled in the Video of the incident showed the Cossacks, some in camouflage and wearing traditional sheepskin hats, throwing punches at members of the group and shoving several to the ground. One man was taken to hospital after being punched in the head during the incident in Anapa on the Black Sea coast.
