Puerto Rico Gov. Ricardo Rosselló is fighting for his political life after private messages he sent as part of a group chat were made public earlier this month. Some of the texts, targeting both political adversaries and allies—and even making light of Hurricane Maria fatalities—were crude and disrespectful, and left the governor looking sophomoric at best.
