Paremoremo Prison, north of Auckland, is the country's only maximum security prison. Corrections has denied reports that only Pākehā officers are guarding the man accused of the Christchurch mosque shootings as he awaits his next court appearance. In the meantime, Stuff understands he is being held in the country's maximum security prison, at Paremoremo, north of Auckland. On Sunday it was reported the accused was being monitored around the clock by only Pākehā officers.
