A Christchurch school could have to repay $250k in tuition fees if Chinese students remain barred due to the Coronavirus travel ban. Craig Rosengrave, international student director at Burnside High School , said although most of the school's Chinese students arrived safely, 16 were still in China. ALDEN WILLIAMS/STUFF Burnside High School has one of the highest number of fee-paying international students in New Zealand. He said he was not aware that any Chinese students have experienced racist or xenophobic comments. Principal Phil Holstein said the Coronavirus travel restrictions demonstrated the need to recruit international students from a range of countries.
