Coronavirus puts children living in poverty at even greater riskThe world is reeling from the Covid-19 pandemic. Families work daily to get resources to last only two or three days. According to the 2019 State of the World’s Children Report by Unicef, there are still millions of malnourished children in the world. For families living in poverty, missing work means missing meals. Millions of children living in vulnerable communities in Africa will suffer from the devastating socio-economic impacts of the pandemic if we do not act now.
