Sadiq Khan, the London mayor, yesterday became the first British political leader to say that non-medical masks should be worn in public. Advice will be issued in Scotland in the next few days, Ms Sturgeon said at her daily public briefing, but avoided confirming what form that would take. The first minister said any guidance would refer to people wearing a face covering such as a dust mask, bandana or scarf, to ensure that medical supplies were not diverted
