A member of staff at the Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel contacted Mirror Online with their concerns about staffing levels at the hospital on Wednesday. The night before, one patient at the hospital, which is run by Barts Health NHS Trust, was being treated for coronavirus. None of those who died were treated at the Royal London. The Royal London also boasts one of the largest children's hospitals in the UK. In response Jackie Sullivan, Chief Executive at The Royal London Hospital, said: "One inpatient at The Royal London has tested positive for coronavirus and is being treated in an isolation room.
