The World Bank in the early days of the outbreak of COVID-19, gave the country US$100 million to help in the fight against the virus in April 2020. “I thank the Government of Ghana for your support in implementing the first two projects which were supported by the World Bank for Ghana towards the fight against the pandemic. He reiterated the World Bank will continue to extend its support to the country until the desired results in the fight against the pandemic are achieved.
