Feni’s Dagonbhuiyan Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Dr Rubaiyat Bin Karim confirmed the matter to Dhaka Tribune on Wednesday night. Although she showed no symptoms of coronavirus infection, her samples were sent to Chittagong’s BITID for testing. Later, she was tested positive for Covid-19 infection. Meanwhile, Feni Civil Surgeon Dr Sazzad Hossain said efforts were now being made to bring the woman to the isolation ward of Feni Trauma Centre.
