Wellington’s border workers will be vaccinated from Monday as the first doses of Pfizer’s Covid-19 vaccine arrive in the country. Capital and Coast District Health Board (CCDHB) is on standby to roll out the vaccine over three phases starting with border staff and their households from Monday. Border workers will need to identify their household contacts for vaccination. It comes as no new cases of Covid-19 were recorded in the community on Monday, although five cases were found in managed isolation. Genomic testing had shown the cases were not connected to any known cases in managed isolation and quarantine facilities.
