Vue, Odeon, Cineworld and Picturehouse are among the firms cancelling all screenings until further notice. Vue and Odean closed their cinemas on Tuesday, while Cineworld and Picturehouse cinemas were due to shut from Wednesday. A spokesman said: “In line with the latest Government guidance on COVID-19, we are temporarily closing our cinemas. There are four Tate galleries: the Tate Modern and Tate Britain in London, the Tate Liverpool and Tate St Ives. UK airports have warned they will shut down "within weeks" without Government intervention due to the coronavirus.
