More than 1 million electricity users availed the charge-free service after the government announced general holiday on March 25, said the mobile financial service (MFS) provider in a media release yesterday. However, the bkash did not disclose the number of other utility subscribers who took the emergency payment service. Besides, bKash agents across the country were ensuring services in this emergency period, added Rashid. However, a very small portion of customers unable to avail the payment service currently due to some technical limitations, the press release said.
