Mr Furniss was diagnosed with bipolar disorder as a teenager and had been unable to work because of his mental health condition. The impact on physical health may become apparent at a slower rate than mental health. 'What is worrying is the impact this pandemic is having on mental health and to ensure proper resourcing of these already stretched services.'
