The draconian move sparked panic, confusion and praise for the Prime Minister on social media as Twitter users insisted they will 'go insane' under the drastic measures. Jasmine Williams said on Twitter that isolation was 'driving me crazy' on the second day as the three-week lockdown was announced this evening. 'The UK is now on lockdown,' added Chloe Donald. Others praised the Prime Minister for the measures, and claimed he is doing 'everything he can' to pull the UK through the pandemic, which has left 335 dead amid 6,650 confirmed cases.
