Independent TV Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Editor-in-Chief M Shamsur Rahman confirmed the matter in a Facebook post on Saturday. “Very happy to inform you that all the 47 colleagues of Independent TV, who had been in isolation, completed the quarantined period on April 9. They can all return to work according to the Institute of Epidemiology, Disease Control and Research (IEDCR), said the social media post. The journalist who did test positive for Covid-19 is still in institutional quarantine, as per the Facebook post. On April 2, a videographer of the private news channel Independent TV tested positive for Covid-19, which led to 47 of his colleagues being home-quarantined.
