For a second consecutive day, there are no new Covid-19 cases to report. Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern described New Zealand as a "safe haven in a very dangerous world". Ardern highlighted that Victoria was in a position of low cases and days of no cases just a few weeks ago. Since the pandemic began, New Zealand has reported 1178 confirmed cases to the World Health Organisation (WHO). For the first time since June 18, no new Covid-19 cases were reported on Tuesday.
