At least five of the people who tested positive for Covid-19 in managed isolation had tested negative before boarding their flight here. A woman isolating at a Christchurch managed isolation and quarantine facility (MIQ) has tested positive for coronavirus. It is the first positive case at the hotel since it joined the managed isolation programme last month. There are seven other positive Covid-19 cases in Christchurch, all of which are in managed isolation and quarantine facilities. The first known active case in the city was a woman in her 20s, who tested positive for Covid-19 while in managed isolation at Christchurch’s Sudima Hotel.
