A physician of Natore Sadar Hospital has been diagnosed with coronavirus, creating panic among the doctors and health workers of the hospital. Nine people, including the two health workers, were diagnosed with COVID-19 in Singra upazila on Tuesday and Wednesday. With an increase in coronavirus cases, the local administration and Coronavirus Preventing and Controlling Committee took the decision to put the whole district under lockdown. Earlier, the local administration has put Singra Health Complex and Singra upazila under lockdown as two health workers of the hospital have tested positive for coronavirus.
