Hundreds of Britons are currently stuck in Egypt, including the Red Sea resort of Hurghada, and begging the Foreign Office for help after flights home were cancelled. An EasyJet spokeswoman said the airline is operating rescue flights on Friday and Saturday with stops at Gatwick, Stansted, Bristol and Manchester airports. Ms Ward has been writing updates for family and friends back home, and asking them to contact the Foreign Office for help. If the Foreign Office is unable to help, "maybe in publicising it there may be someone with private transport who could also offer help," she added. Britons in Peru have blasted the Foreign Office and accused it of dragging its heels after Israel sent four planes to rescue hundreds of its citizens.
