Coronavirus: Moroccans Repatriated from Wuhan

: As planned, 167 Moroccan nationals, including 52 women, have been repatriated from Wuhan Sunday aboard a plane of Royal Air Maroc (RAM) that landed at the Benslimane Airport. The repatriation was carried out in implementation of the instructions of King Mohammed VI and in perfect coordination between all concerned departments following the breakout of the coronavirus. A medical team, made up of civilian and military doctors and nurses, accompanied the Moroccan nationals during their journey from Wuhan, the center of the coronavirus outbreak, to the reception sites at the Sidi Said hospital in Meknes and the Mohammed V military hospital in Rabat. Part of the repatriated Moroccans will be placed in quarantine for 20 days at the virology center of Rabat’s Mohammed V military hospital, under close supervision of medical teams trained for this purpose. In statements released last week, the Moroccan ministry of health said that Morocco has not registered any coronavirus cases.
