NZDF personnel will be a regular sight at Port Nelson in the coming weeks, as part of Covid-19 border control measures. Port Nelson is boosting its border protection efforts by welcoming Defence Force personnel into its work environment. Port spokeswoman Jessica Ammundsen​ said inductions of Defence Force personnel were taking place between Friday and Monday.
