Coronavirus May Postpone New York’s Presidential Primary


New York officials are debating whether to move the state’s Democratic presidential primary from April 28 to a date in June as the number of coronavirus infections grows. State Sen. James Skoufis, a Democrat from Orange County, introduced a bill that would move the nominating contest to June 23, which is already the date of primary elections for members of Congress as well as the state Assembly and Senate.
