Coronavirus Liverpool star Sadio Mane donates £41,000 to Senegal health organisation

Sadio Mane has donated £41,000 to the FCFA, a health body fighting coronavirus in Senegal, as the Liverpool star does his bit to help the fight against coronavirus in his home country. Senegal, where Mane hails from, has had a total of 27 confirmed cases of covid-19 as the world continues to battle against the deadly disease. That has lead to the Champions League winner making the donation, which was made 'spontaneously when he saw the evolution of the situation,' his agent told BBC Sport. The Liverpool attacker is currently in Merseyside and is training, with the Premier League leaders giving their players individually-tailored programs to keep fit during the pandemic. Flights between Senegal and countries in North Africa, such as Algeria and Tunisia, have also been suspended.
