The total number of cases confirmed in England is now 33. With more cases confirmed in Wales and Northern Ireland, the total number of UK cases is now at 35. Mr Hancock added the UK remained in the "containment" phase with the 23 confirmed cases. The delay could be enacted if the coronavirus outbreak continues to escalate. It is believed the case is linked wit tavel from an affected area in northern Italty, instead of from contact with another confirmed case.
