There have been three new Covid-19 related deaths and more than 1,000 new confirmed cases of the virus, according to the latest figures. The Health Protection Surveillance Centre has been made aware of 1,012 new confirmed cases of Covid-19. It is the highest number of cases over a 24 hour period since the height of the pandemic. “In the past 24 hours, there have been 35 new admissions of laboratory confirmed cases to hospital and 4 new admissions to ICU. On average, there were just over 500 cases confirmed each day in the week before today.
