Minister of Information, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah announcing the helpline at a press briefing this morning, said persons seeking real-time information about the virus and any clarification on government’s measures such as the restriction on movements can call the information centre for help. He also announced 055311311 as the WhatsApp number which can also be used to reach the centre. He cautioned the public against making prank calls to the help centre, indicating that numbers used to make such calls will merit a block and possible prosecution. He also indicated that a good number of the cases are coming up to full recovery.
