The Cabinet Division issued a circular in this regard on Sunday. The order will remain effective until any further notice, the circular said. Earlier, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare cancelled leave of all officials and physicians under the ministry due to the breakout of Covid-19, a new strain of coronavirus, in the country. Bangladesh has so far recorded two deaths and 24 infections from Covid-19, a pandemic announced by the World Health Organization. The fast spreading coronavirus has claimed more than 13,000 lives and infected over 300,000 people across the world, according to Worldometer.
