According to worldometer, a total of 94,552 new coronavirus cases were recorded across the globe on Friday, taking the total number of Covid-19 cases to 3,401,189. Till now, the number of active cases stands at 2,079,946. Of the active cases, 2,028,590 (98%) were identified to be in mild condition while the rest 51,356 (2%) have been marked as serious or critical. The Covid-19 pandemic has claimed 239,604 lives since its discovery in December 2019, which was 18% of cases which had an outcome. Till now, coronavirus or Covid-19 has affected 212 countries and territories around the world and two international conveyances.
