The English Premier League has been suspended after three clubs put their entire playing squads in self-isolation because of coronavirus. The same suspension applies for the three lower divisions overseen by the English Football League and to England's top two women's divisions. In a statement, the English Football League said it was now the time to act in response to the coronavirus crisis. "This decision has not been taken lightly, but the EFL must prioritise the health and well-being of players, staff and supporters."
