"I think the best option is to have [a repatriation] flight, so they can go back home to Brazil with their families." In written answers provided to Stuff, minister-counsellor Henrique Choer Moraes said the embassy organised a repatriation flight on May 1, which carried 185 people, funded by the Brazilian government. Gonçalve said many Brazilians were not aware of the repatriation flight in May or still had employment at that time.
