KUALA LUMPUR (Bernama): The Chinese national who was admitted to the isolation ward in Hospital Permai, Johor Bahru on Jan 24 after being infected with the 2019 novel coronavirus has been discharged. This is the country's second case of recovery from the infection. He said the patient who was confirmed to be the country's fourth coronavirus case fully recovered after being treated with anti-viral medicine Kaletra in an off-label use for eight days from Jan 28. Dr Noor Hisham said the 40-year-old man from Wuhan, China, was admitted to the hospital after showing symptoms of high fever and pneumonia. Dr Noor Hisham also congratulated the dedicated medical team led by Infectious Disease specialist Dr Masliza Zaid for the success.
