Coronavirus: Changes to GPs at level three and beyond

While "very little" will change for GPs under level three restrictions, the impacts of coronavirus will be felt within the sector for years to come. Under level three, GPs would still be seeing most patients virtually, but perhaps would have more ability to refer patients into the hospital system. Marlborough Primary Health Organisation chief executive Beth Tester said there were discussions under way nationally about how health services would look. The Ministry of Health released information on health services available at level three on Thursday. "At this point in time it doesn't matter whether it's health care home or not, everyone's working together to manage this and support each other."
