He said: “Ruhul Amin was working as a nursing officer at Shaheed Shamsuddin Ahmed Hospital. He himself became infected with coronavirus while serving patients. He died as the first brother (nurse) in Bangladesh after being infected with coronavirus while on duty.”Earlier, the district recorded the first death of a physician from Covid-19 in the country. Dr Moyeen Uddin was an assistant professor at the medicine department of Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College Hospital.
