BCB had earlier postponed all cricketing activities in the country including ongoing Bangabandhu Dhaka Premier League (BDPL) for indefinite time as a precaution to combat against coronavirus spread. Bangladesh Cricket Board [BCB] has decided to let its staff stay at home and work remotely. The decision has come as a preventive measure amid the rising concern of coronavirus spread in the country. Coronavirus has infected 275,871 people around the world according to worldometer, as of Saturday. On March 11, the World Health Organization declared the coronavirus crisis a pandemic.
