Sri Lanka confirmed 219 fresh positive cases of Covid-19 this evening (20), says the Department of Government Information. Reports revealed that 215 of the newly-identified patients are close contacts of the earlier cases from the Minuwangoda-Peliyagoda cluster. With the latest development, total infections from the dual cluster reached 15,765. In addition, two seafarers and two arrivals from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) were also tested positive for the virus. Thereby, coronavirus cases confirmed in Sri Lanka since March this year have reached 19,280.
