Coronation Street may not air everyday, but fans of the ITV soap still enjoy their fair whack of drama with six episodes airing each week. However, upcoming television guide listings have revealed viewers will only be treated to four episodes each week in the coming fortnight in a huge schedule shake-up. With no episodes airing on Friday October 11, the soap is also being cancelled the following Monday October 14, meaning the long-standing drama will be off air for an entire week. Coronation Street isn’t the only programme facing upheaval however, as Emmerdale’s usual time slot is also being disputed during the same week.
