The accolades continue to roll in for the Corona del Mar and Marina high school football teams, which won CIF Southern Section titles in November. Garbers, the Dream Team Player of the Year, also carried the ball 93 times for 573 yards and 12 touchdowns. Senior tight end Mark Redman (Washington) and senior wide receiver Bradley Schlom (UCLA) also earned All-CIF honors in Division 3 for the Sea Kings’ offense. Also receiving All-CIF honors for Newport Harbor were senior wide receiver Aidan Goltz and senior linebacker Chad Koste. Ocean View had senior wide receiver Brandon Alcaraz chosen as an All-CIF selection for Division 12.
