Cork gardaí ask public to report people who don’t work but have flashy carsGARDAÍ are asking the Cork public to report any people who have flashy cars, who go on a lot of holidays but don’t appear to work to the Criminal Assets Bureau (CAB). Fourteen CAB investigations are currently active in Cork and the organisation is appealing to the public to come forward with information on additional cases. Detective Chief Superintendent Patrick Clavin said the organisation is looking to extend its work across the country including Cork. “If you think you know someone who has flashy cars, who goes on a lot of holidays but doesn’t appear to work, report them to CAB,” Det Chief Supt Clavin said. Pass on the information to us, you will never appear in court and we often take anonymous information.”
