There have been several occasions in the past when fire brigades, ambulances and gardaí have found it extremely difficult to access the Dock Beach near James’ Fort in Kinsale. Visitors’ parking has been a major issue on the narrow road approaching the beach and the fort. Officials said they recognise that the Dock Beach is an extremely busy location.
