Cork City boss calls on Cork soccer community to rally around Liam Miller's familyCORK City honoured the memory of the late Liam Miller as they came from 2-0 down to claim the President’s Cup with a 4-2 win over Dundalk at Oriel Park yesterday. Miller, who spent the 2015 season with City, died on Friday and is being buried today and City manager John Caulfield felt that the comeback would have made him proud. “At the end of the day, Liam Miller was a professional footballer all his life, he was living his dream,” he said. With so many in Cork soccer circles having links to Miller, Caulfield is calling on them to show support. Nothing will ease the pain for them but hopefully the club and the people of Cork will come out in force to pay their respects.”
