The Labour leader criticised financial institutions who “think they run our country” in response to Morgan Stanley, the US banking giant, which said that a Corbyn-led government was a greater risk to the British economy than Brexit. In a video released on social media last night, Mr Corbyn vowed that if Labour came to power they would rein in the “speculators and gamblers who crashed our economy in 2008”. Earlier this week a report from Morgan Stanley’s European equity team told investors: “For the UK market, domestic politics may be perceived as a bigger risk than Brexit.
