SHAH ALAM: Police are seeking the help of the public to locate two men in connection with a car dealer scam syndicate. "The two men we are looking for are S. Visvanathan, 34, from Kapar, Selangor, and S. Vimalathitten (pic) from Penang. ACP Fazlisyam refuted claims in some media reports that police are powerless to stop this car dealer scam syndicate, after the first two detained by police were "released" after a day. He was commenting after a media report highlighted the case where a 51-year-old doctor was cheated out of his Range Rover worth RM200,000. The syndicate, which targets people selling vehicles online, paid the doctor with a fake banker's cheque.
