The investing officer Geoffrey Ndatho said he is investigating an attempted murder case and the suspect has not yet been processed for fingerprints. Makueni MP Dan Maanzo representing the victims claims constable Felistus Musyoka has not woken up since the operation he underwent at Nairobi Hospital. His lawyer Cliff Ombeta has opposed the application saying the police have no compelling reasons to detain Mararo. The investigating officer needs to inform the court when they say he ran away at the crime scene yet he presented himself at the police. The magistrate said she will deliver her ruling on Wednesday since she has a long hearing today.
