PETALING JAYA: Two Nigerian men and a local woman were arrested for conducting parcel scams at a condominium in Cheras, Kuala Lumpur. Wangsa Maju OCPD Supt Rajab Ahad Ismail said that the victim, a nurse, 22, was contacted on Facebook by the group who posed as a doctor named John Peter from the United Kingdom. "The group befriended the nurse for two weeks and told her that they are sending her a parcel as a gift of friendship. He said the nurse made the payment into a bank account before becoming suspicious. "She then checked the Facebook account of John Peter and realised the account had been closed.
